A line or a paragraph. Pick a length from five seconds to a minute and a tone, or start from a template and add your own twist.

FAQ
Questions people ask first
What do I need to start?
A premise and someone to cast. A character can come from a photo — yours, or an adult who agreed to it — or from a few written lines, with no photo at all.
Do I need an account?
No. Roolly creates an anonymous account on first launch and keeps your cast, your films and your credits under it. There is no sign-up form and we never ask for your email.
Is it free?
You get free credits on first launch — enough for a first character and a first film. After that you can buy a credit pack or subscribe to Roolly Plus. Both are optional and handled by the App Store.
How long does a film take?
A few minutes for a 30-second film. The storyboard comes first, so you can review and change the scenes before a single frame is filmed. Leave the app if you like — the film lands in your Library when the take is done.
Are the films real footage?
No. Everything Roolly makes is AI-generated — the stills, the clips, the voices. It is fiction with your cast in it, and it should never be passed off as a real recording of something that happened.
Can I use a photo of someone else?
Only with their permission, and only if they are an adult. Characters built from a photo stay private to you and can be erased from Settings at any time.
What happens if a film fails?
The credits come straight back to your balance. Shoot the same idea again, or change the premise.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Settings → Erase face data removes every character built from a photo and the films they acted in; Delete account removes the account itself. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what goes and what stays.
